The event titled "Decent Work Series IX", organized by the International Law and Human Rights Application and Research Center (UHAM) at Ibn Haldun University, was held on April 10, 2025.

The session was moderated by Dr. Gülnİhal Ahter Yakacak, Director of the International Law and Human Rights Center at Ibn Haldun University.
Research Assistant Beyza Aydın from the Department of Labor and Social Security Law at İzmir Katip Çelebi University delivered a presentation titled "Freedom of Expression for Workers as a Requirement of Decent Work," in which she examined the concept of workers’ voice and its significance in labor law.
Research Assistant Damla Kaynar Kıroğlu from the Department of Labor and Social Security Law at Hacettepe University gave a presentation titled "Prohibitions of Discrimination in Recruitment in Light of ECJ Judgments," discussing the legal aspects of anti-discrimination measures in hiring processes within the framework of European Court of Justice rulings.
The event offered in-depth analyses of contemporary labor law issues and opened up a discussion on the legal foundations of a work environment that respects human dignity.
