UHAM held the "Women's Rights Panel: Equality, Justice, and a Look into the Future" event on March 13, 2025.

The "Women's Rights Panel: Equality, Justice, and a Look into the Future" event, organized by the Ibn Haldun University Center for International Law and Human Rights (UHAM), took place on March 13, 2025.

The panel addressed the current state of women's rights from a legal and human rights perspective, the challenges in achieving justice, and expectations for the future. The event was broadcast live on the university's YouTube channel (@ihuuham).

The panel was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Eda Manav Özdemir.

Prof. Dr. F. Burcu Savaş Kutsal, Faculty Member of Labor and Social Security Law at Bahçeşehir University, discussed the legal and social dimensions of "Menstruation Leave and Its Paradoxes".

Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bozkurt Gümrükçüoğlu, Faculty Member of Labor and Social Security Law at Ibn Haldun University, explored the impact of artificial intelligence on women's rights and digital gender inequality in her talk "Digital Patriarchy in the Age of AI: The Gendered Power of Algorithms".

The panel covered current legal issues related to women's rights, including women's labor rights, gender roles in the digital world, and gender equality in human rights law.
