The VIIth session of the Decent Work Series organized by the International Law and Human Rights Center (UHAM) was held on December 5, 2024, under the title "Violation of the Age Discrimination Prohibition in Employment Relations." Moderated by Dr. Lecturer Gülnihal Ahter Yakacak, a faculty member in the Department of Constitutional Law at Ibn Haldun University, the event featured Doç. Dr. Canan Ünal Adınır, a faculty member in the Department of Labor and Social Security Law at Marmara University Faculty of Law. Doç. Dr. Adınır discussed the general principles of the prohibition of discrimination, regulations in the legislation, case law, and situations where claims of age discrimination cannot be asserted.
