Within the scope of the "Decent Work Series" conducted by Ibn Haldun University International Law and Human Rights Research and Application Center (UHAM), the twenty-third session of the series will be organized to address legal issues concerning the protection of personal rights and privacy of employees in working life. In this session of the series, "Processing of Employees' Personal Health Data from a Decent Work Perspective" will be discussed comprehensively.

The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Burcu Savaş Kutsal (Faculty Member at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Law, Department of Labour and Social Security Law), and will feature Dr. Şelen Kolan İmir as the speaker. In the event, the conditions for processing special category personal health data within the employment relationship, the legal regulations under KVKK and GDPR on this matter, the circumstances under which explicit consent is obtained along with its validity requirements, and the reflections of this process from a "decent work" perspective will be evaluated in detail.Participation is open to everyone. All interested parties are invited.
