Within the scope of the "Decent Work Series" conducted by Ibn Haldun University International Law and Human Rights Research and Application Center (UHAM), the twenty-second session of the series will be organized to address trade union rights and organization, which are among the most deep-rooted and protective elements of working life. In this event of the series, the topic of "Basic Principles and Functions of Trade Unions Law from a Decent Work Perspective" will be discussed comprehensively.
The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bozkurt Gümrükçüoğlu (Faculty Member at Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law, Department of Labour and Social Security Law), and will feature Asst. Prof. Dr. Serkan Taylan Karaç (Faculty Member at Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Law, Department of Labour and Social Security Law) as the speaker. In the event, trade union freedoms and basic principles, the functions of trade unions in establishing industrial peace and social justice, and the contributions of these structures to the "decent work" vision will be evaluated in detail.
